James Angel's Bio

James Angel, Co-Founder of the NJ Housing Authority, and long time house fanatic.  James started spinning house music in 1997 in Syracuse, NY.  In 1998, James moved to Maryland and took up spinning jump-up jungle which was the style that took him to fame.  After 3 years of spinning Jump-Up Jungle, the music had taken a turn for the worse.  James didn't care for the direction in which jungle was heading with its darker and less uplifting sounds.  Because of this, James found himself drawn back into house music, and the soulful and funky grooves that lie within.   Now it's 2002, and with the rest of the NJHA, James is here to deliver his funky uptempo jazzy, and deep soulful house styles.
